- Oh Kevin, keep in mind...these programs do not go directly to the ones needing it. As I just mentioned, the abuses of who actually gets this money, more than often are indeed the ones that DO know how to spend money.

- re: Joel B. Please keep in mind, that the govt programs are for companies to make the decision of who gets assistance. Companies often find ways to use these programs for anyone they feel they can regain 'income' from.

- Re: Karol E. Good thought. It's funny that auto lenders took up this practice and certainly, while I was shocked at getting a 6 YEAR loan...made it possible for me to buy a new car.

- re: Skagitman. I'm not being rude here, but the word socialism has been thrown around by politicians and the media to create yet another sense of fear. We have already, by definition in some ways 'socialist' programs. Our schools, roads, waters etc.

- I think the idea is a good start. I'd rather see incentives to the industry which is after all, how they live and do what they do. It may help us 1 of the 3 (see stats) that are NOT owing more than the value.
